Set on a steep slope along the Medina waterfront, this elegant home—owned by a retired Microsoft executive—underwent a transformative renovation by LeeAnn Baker Interiors in partnership with Schultz Miller. Previous remodels left a disjointed aesthetic, presenting a unique challenge: to create a cohesive, functional, and sophisticated space.

The kitchen, once dominated by a dark palette and an oversized L-shaped island that obstructed the view, became the heart of the redesign. The range hood was relocated, soffits were removed, and cabinetry was extended into the existing crown for a seamless look. A cheerful green island, custom-matching pendants, and a full-height quartzite slab backsplash bring fresh energy to the space, complemented by the full-height tile along the window wall.

The butler’s pantry mirrors the kitchen’s updates, featuring the same vibrant cabinetry and elegant glass-front displays. Upstairs, the primary bath was reimagined as a serene retreat with marble surfaces, custom millwork, and spa-like details. Blending traditional craftsmanship with modern sensibilities, this renovation achieves a balance of timeless elegance and effortless livability—where every detail feels intentional and inviting.
